Hi, this if Bill Russell from Crossfit Cleveland. I’m here with one of our members Tom, he’s going to tell you what he thinks about training here.
Hi, I’m Tom Ford. I met Bill at the Rocky River Chamber of Commerce luncheon, and decided to dive in with my wife Sue about 3 1/2 years ago (2013). What I really love about CrossFit is the simplicity of it. To me, before CrossFit, exercise without a basketball in my hand was just boring and I could never stick to with anything. I’ve really embraced Bill phrase of “just show up and do the work”. To me after working a long day, my brain is kind of tired and I need the simplicity of a coach telling me what to do. It’s different every day so it doesn’t get boring. On the eating side of things, the simplicity of the coaching we get to focus on an approach of “stop eating crap”. That’s not very complicated, I can do that.
The last thing is both my orthopedic doctor, after I blew my ankle out while playing basketball, he told me to definitely keep doing CrossFit. The doctor told me to keep at it. Then my general physician every annual physical said just keep doing what you’re doing, it’s going great.
