The Eiffel Tower grows taller in summer?

The metal expands in the heat, making it up to 6 inches taller.  

Just like metal expands in summer warmth, your body needs more care in hot weather. Stretch regularly, stay cool, and listen to your body.

 

Holy smokes, how about that weather shift!?  In Cleveland, Ohio we went from 64 degrees to 94 degrees in one week!

 

Hot days, busy weekends, and a lack of routine can make summer fun, but it can also leave you feeling totally zapped.

If you’ve been more tired, irritable or foggy lately, you’re not alone.  The heat can take a real toll on your energy.  


When your body is working overtime to stay cool and hydrated, your energy takes a hit.

From a holistic perspective, our body’s needs shift with the seasons, and July is all about protecting your energy and staying hydrated.

 

Here’s a simple tip to try this week:


“Hydrate and cool” snack combo:  Pair water-rich foods (like cucumber or berries) with a protein or healthy fat (like Greek yogurt, nuts, or cheese).


This helps cool your system and keeps your blood sugar steady, which can help you avoid crashes and mood swings.

 

Summer is meant to be enjoyed, not just survived.  When you give your body what it needs, you’ll feel better, think more clearly and actually have the energy to enjoy the season.

HOLD POLICY

Month-to-Month Membership Agreements and Annual Membership Agreements: You may place your Membership on hold two (2) times per calendar year up to three (3) consecutive months each time. Advanced notice of at least two (2) business days is required. The hold must be 30 days in duration at a minimum and 30 days must elapse between holds. Upon expiration of the term of the hold, your account will automatically become active and payments will resume. Should you choose to return prior to the end of their hold period, the hold will be released and payments will resume.

CANCELLATION POLICY

All membership agreements require 30-days written notice to cancel your membership. This form will serve as your 30-days written cancellation notice. Note that if you have a scheduled renewal payment within 30-days of your invoice billing date, the payment will be processed as scheduled. Your membership will be canceled at the end of your final paid month. All payments are non-refundable. All grandfathered membership rates will also be forfeited and returning members will be subject to current rates.
