Hi, this is Bill Russell from CrossFit Cleveland in Rocky River. You might be wondering what it’s like to show up and be in a class here. So when you arrive, there’s a coach and a group of people ready to start the workout. There’s a warmup on the board that you’ll be guided through by the coach, and that warmup is going to get you prepared for that day’s workout. And every day our workout changes. So the warmup is going to be there to get you prepared for those movements.
Then there’s a skills portion, where you’ll review the movements in the workout with a coach, and they’ll be able to make any modifications that you need based on anything as far as injury or physical limitations that you have. So everyone can do the same workout, but they’re going to do it at their own level.
So that workout changes every day so that you don’t get bored and get in a rut. And so you don’t have to think. You come in, there’s a warmup. We’re going to review the movements. We’ll teach you anything that you need before we start. Then there’s the workout, which ranges anywhere from four to five minutes to maybe 20 to 25. And some of those short workouts are some of the most effective and most intense.
Then after the workout, there’s a cool down. So that might be a little mini workout, or it’s stretching or mobility work. So you’re in and out of here in under an hour. If you want to come a little early or stay a little bit late, we’ve got an entire section of the gym that’s dedicated for just that: stretching, rolling out. We’ve got rowers and Airdyne machines, so you don’t have to run out right at the end of class. You can stay and work on some things that you’d like.
What we hear more than anything from people is that we’ve removed the thinking for them. They show up, they do the work, and they get amazing results. And it really is that simple as long as you’re willing to walk through the door and put in the work. And we’ll guide you. We’ll meet you where you are and help you get as fit as you want to be.
